These products focus on areas of research such as immunology, cancer and neurological disease. BioSource focuses its sales efforts on pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and governmental laboratories.
NEN Life Sciences, Inc. (“NEN”), is the leading provider of high value research consumables and technology-based tools to the life science industry. NEN was founded in 1956 to provide radioisotopically labeled biochemicals primarily for use in pharmaceutical, academic and government life science research. NEN was acquired be E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company in 1981, and operated as a division until Genstar’s purchase.
PRA International, headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a leading international clinical research organization (CRO) with over 3,000 employees. The company provides services on a contract basis to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. PRA offers comprehensive services including the filing of Investigational New Drug (IND) and similar regulatory applications, management and implementation of Phase I through IV clinical trials, preparation and submission of New Drug Applications (NDAs), and post-marketing surveillance on an international basis.

Andros Incorporated designs and manufactures gas analyzers for use in various applications, including medical to monitor the amount of anesthetics ingested by a patient in the operating room; automotive for engine diagnostics and emissions measurement (smog check); and environmental for leak detection in Freon-based refrigeration systems.

The company designed and marketed specialty bedding products, bath accessories, and window coverings through exclusive licensing arrangements with major national brands including Nautica®, Liz Claiborne®, Villager® and Dockers® as well as its own proprietary brands, Suite 109® and Armoire®.
