J. Ryan Clark is a Principal of Genstar Capital, helping to identify, evaluate and execute acquisition and investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Genstar, Ryan was an Associate at Hellman & Friedman LLC, a private equity investment firm in San Francisco. Previously, he worked in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring Department at Morgan Stanley in New York.
Ryan earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and an AB in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College, with election to Phi Beta Kappa. Ryan is Director and Chairman of the Board for Confie Seguros, 21st Services, Granite Global Solutions, MidCap Financial, LLC and a former Director of Fort Dearborn Company.
