Robert Conway

Mr. Robert Conway serves on Genstar’s Strategic Advisory Board and advises the Firm in the area of life sciences.
From November 1999 to the present, Mr. Conway has served as the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of Array BioPharma a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of orally active drugs to address significant unmet medical needs. Prior to joining Array, Mr. Conway was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Hill Top Research, Inc., from 1996 to 1999. There he managed 22 company-owned research centers, conducting clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. From 1979 until 1996, Mr. Conway held various executive positions for Corning Inc. including Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Corning Hazleton, Inc., a preclinical contract research organization, where he led North American operations.
Mr. Conway serves on the Board of Directors of DEMCO, Inc. and PRA International, Inc. He received a B.S. in accounting from Marquette University and an M.B.A from the University of Cincinnati, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
