Anthony J. Salewski is a Principal with Genstar Capital, helping to identify, evaluate and execute acquisition and investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Genstar, Tony was the Chief of Staff for Operations at Barclays Global Investors (BGI), the world’s largest institutional investment manager, where he reported to the Chief Operating Officer and executed strategic initiatives for the Executive Committee. Prior to BGI, Tony was an Associate at Hellman & Friedman LLC, a private equity investment firm in San Francisco. Tony began his career in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley in New York.

Tony received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated with honors from Harvard College.
