Katie Solomon is Vice President, Human Capital at Genstar Capital. She works across Genstar’s portfolio to help drive growth through the identification and acquisition of talent. Katie also manages Genstar’s recruiting relationships.

Katie brings experience in recruiting, finance, marketing and consulting to her role at Genstar. Prior to Genstar, Katie was Vice President, Human Capital and Investor Relations at Vector Capital. Previously, she worked in executive search at Russell Reynolds Associates where she focused on recruiting CEO and senior level executives to private equity and venture backed companies. Before that, Katie led the marketing team at Harvard Business School Career Services and directed the global investment banking recruiting department at Robertson Stephens. Katie began her career as a Consultant with Bain & Company where she advised both Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Katie received her B.A. in American Studies, Phi Beta Kappa, and her M.A. in English from Stanford University. She received her M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
