Larry Park is an Operating Executive with Genstar Capital, responsible for expanding Genstar’s financial & business services practice, with specific focus on payment processing. Prior to joining Genstar, Larry was CEO & Co-Founder of WildCard Systems, the global market leader in prepaid payment solutions (acquired by eFunds, now Fidelity National, NYSE: FIS). In his role as CEO, Larry led WildCard from start-up through successful exit and established the preeminent company in the fastest growing segment of the electronic payments market.

Larry has a 25 year track record of leadership and innovation in the electronic payments industry. Prior to co-founding WildCard, Larry was CEO of Transglobal, a merchant credit card processor (acquired by Chase Paymentech, a joint venture between JP Morgan Chase and First Data). Earlier in his career, Larry was COO and CFO of National Bancard Corporation (NaBANCO) during its formative years. Larry and the senior management team acquired the company and later sold it to First Financial Management, now First Data. NaBANCO became the world’s largest processor of merchant Visa and MasterCard transactions.

Larry serves on the Board of Directors of Genstar portfolio company, Evolution1, Inc., as well as Concept Shopping, two venture-backed payments companies. He holds a BS in Finance from Ohio State University, and an MBA from the University of Miami.
