SAN FRANCISCO – Genstar Capital Management, LLC, a leading middle market private equity firm that focuses on investments in targeted segments of the software, financial services, healthcare, and industrial technology industries, today announced that Gretchen L. Robinson has joined the firm in a newly created role as Vice President of Investor Relations.
Ms. Robinson joins Genstar from independent global asset manager Capital Dynamics, Inc., where she joined in 2008 and most recently served as a Vice President in Investment Management. While at Capital Dynamics, she was responsible for over $500 million of commitments and relationships with 35+ leading private equity and venture capital managers, and fundraised for the firm’s most recent buyout fund and venture capital fund of funds. Earlier, Ms. Robinson was an analyst at Wells Fargo in Debt Capital Markets. She received her B.S. degree from Vanderbilt University.
